Walk: Laytown to Mornington beach and return
Meeting Point: River Nanny carpark, Laytown

Directions: Train to Laytown (Dublin-Dundalk Commuter) – Leaving Malahide 9.43am,
Rush/Lusk 9.52, Skerries 9.57. Arrives Laytown 10.12am.
Return train from Laytown – Leaving Laytown 13.54pm, 14.11, 14.55, 15.11, 15.54.
Meeting Time: 10.20am
Walk Start Time: 10.30am
Route: We will leave the carpark and walk along the beach to Mornington beach. We will stop at the River Boyne wall for picnic lunch. No nice café unfortunately, all BYO. Bring hot drink and some lunch. We will make some St Bridgid Crosses and there will be plenty of time for some poems and songs if you so wish.
We then will return to Laytown by the beach.

Leader’s Note: This is an easy beach walk on mostly hard sand as well as some footpath. We will finish at the coffee shop in Laytown.
