This is an EASY HILLWALK 

Leader’s Note:

Starting with a lovely coastal ramble from Dún Laoghaire taking in Sandycove, Bullock Harbour, Colliemore Harbour with views over to Dalkey Is., then Dillons Park and Sorrento Park followed by a loop of Killiney Hill Park with stunning panoramic views from the Obelisk with a great return via Dalkey Quarry to Dalkey. Plenty of return DARTs from there.

We will meet at Skerries Train Station to catch the 08.52 train to Pearse, then the 09.42 DART to Dún Laoghaire, arriving 10.03. A short walk from the Station to INK Café at dlr Lexicon (Library) for a coffee and scone before heading off on the walk. Refreshments and food at the end of the walk in The Club Bar, Dalkey for those who wish to relax after it. NB No sandwich required as going for a bite to eat after the walk.  For anyone wishing to drive – there is the dlr Lexicon Car Park beside the Library on Queen’s Rd., Dún Laoghaire. Eircode: A96 DA36. €6 all day parking. Note: entrance to the left. NOT the Pavilion car park to the right which charges €13.
