This is an EASY HILLWALK – NOT A RAMBLE

Leader’s Note:

Bray Head offers a delightful and varied walk. This is a very pleasant 11km walk starting off from Bray seafront, then up to the Cross and over across to Bray Head Summit (240m), down through Windgates to the Coastal Cliff Path and onwards south to Greystones, taking in the location of the EIRE 8 neutrality marking sign along the way. Walking poles could be useful for the short steep stretch up to the Cross.

We will meet at Skerries Train Station to catch the 08.53 train to Pearse, then the 09.41 Rosslare Europort train to Bray arriving at 10.20. A coffee & scone in Finnbees  on the seafront before we head off on the walk. Refreshments and lunch then at the end of the walk in The Burnaby Pub opp. Greystones DART Station for those who want to relax after it.

For anyone driving – there is plenty of parking on the seafront over the level crossing at the train station in Bray and then turning left to a large car park on the right. DART then back from Greystones.
