Meeting Point/Walk Start Point: Upper Car Park Glendalough (Need 4 Euro coins)
Time: Meet at 09:45am. Walk starts at 10:00am
Distance/Duration: 12.6km / 4-4.5 hours
Height: Summit 657m; Total ascent 773m
Further Info: This is a moderate hill walk.
Starting from the upper car park we pass the Poulanass waterfall, followed by a bit of a climb up to Derrybawn (474M), walk the Derrybawn Ridge with fabulous views not to be missed (weather dependent!); continue onto to Mullacor(657) thru open bog land/ moorland (gaiters and sticks recommended) continue to Lugduff SE and return via the Spinc and forest track to car park. Advise to bring Sunscreen and insect repellent!
Allow 1.5 hours to get from Skerries to Upper Car Park in Glendalough. Toilet facilities and food are available from the parking area. Note: Ice Cream van cash only.
