Skerries Point to Ardgillan Loop POSTPONED!

Route: (1) Skerries Community Centre, (2) Skerries Point (Eurospar), (3) Car park nearest Ladies Stairs, loop of Ardgillan- and return to your chosen starting point.
Start time: (1) 10:35 a.m. (2) 11:00 a.m. (3) 11:15 a.m.
Meeting point: (1) Gates of Skerries Community Centre (2) Outside Eurospar, Skerries Point, (3) Carpark nearest Ladies Stairs on Balbriggan Road
Distance: (1) 11km approx. (2) 8km approx. (3) 5km approx.
Duration: (1) 2-2 ¾ hours approx. (2) 1 ½ to 2 hours approx. (3) 1 hour approx.

This week our local walk will provide members with the choice of 3 different distances, 5km, 8km or 11km. Starting at (1) 10:35 a.m. at Skerries Community Centre, we will walk along Dublin Road, then Townparks to (2) Eurospar, Skerries Point (11.00 a.m.) and then along the new road by Barnageerach Cove/Hamilton Hill to (3) the Car park nearest Ladies stairs (11:15 a.m. ) Then we will do a loop around Ardgillan (the field will probably be wet and mucky in places so sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots are recommended).
No need to text if you are meeting at Skerries Community Centre at 10:30 a.m. but if you decide to start at Skerries Point (Eurospar) or the car park near Ladies stairs then could you please let the leader know.
The duration of the walk will be approximately 1 hour for option (3) Ardgillan Loop; 1 ½ to 2 hours for option (2); and 2 to 2 ¾ approximately for option (1) depending on group, numbers and weather conditions.
