Skerries Point to Ardgillan Loop

Route: (1) Skerries Point (Eurospar), (2) Car park nearest Ladies Stairs, loop of Ardgillan- and return to your chosen starting point.
Start time: (1) 10:30 am (2) 10:45 am
Meeting point: (1) Outside Eurospar, Skerries Point, (2) Carpark nearest Ladies Stairs on Balbriggan Road
Distance: (1) 8km approx. (2) 5km approx.
Duration: (1) 1 ½ to 2 hours approx. (3) 1 hour approx.
This week our local walk will provide members with the choice of 2 different distances, 5km or 8km Starting at (1) 10:30 at Eurospar, Skerries Point and then walk along the new road by Barnageerach Cove/Hamilton Hill to (2) the Car park nearest Ladies stairs (approx 10:45) Then we will do a loop around Ardgillan (the field will probably be wet and mucky in places so sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots are recommended).

The duration of the walk will be approximately 1 hour for option (2) Ardgillan Loop; 1 ½ to 2 hours for option (1) depending on group, numbers and weather conditions.
