Ramble Joe Biden Pop-Up Walk

April 12, 2023

Walk : Omeath /Carlingford/Omeath Greenway to say  hello to Joe Biden

Meeting Point: Granvue Hotel Seafront  Omeath.

Walk Start Time: 12.00 Noon ………..subject to change

Route

We walk to Carlingford to meet Joe Biden and stop for a sandwich and later return to Omeath. So far Joe has not refused to meet the members of Skerries Walking Club .

I have no idea how long we will be in Carlingford and as this is a historic occasion I will not be in a hurry to return to Omeath in addition Joe is sure to be late.

Please note if you carry a bag you may attract attention from the American Secret Service as a perceived terrorist so consider travelling light

You will need a reasonable level of fitness, walking boots, a sense of humour.

It may be cold so bring clothes to the start and make a decision what to wear before we leave Omeath .

If you wish to leave early this is not advised as we need for safety reasons to stay together for the return walk to Omeath

Any time changes will be notified to members via the What’s App Group.

We arrive back to Omeath approx 2 hrs after Joe leaves for Dublin and I have no idea what time this will be.

I may have a Pint at the end in the Hotel if it is open and you are welcome to join me.
