Leader’s Note: This is an easy walk with rise. As usual boots are advisable, if it is wet it will be still fine. Shorts are not a problem, there are no briars nor is it overgrown with nettles and long grass. There are no known issues with this section.

Directions from Skerries: Take the M1 north towards Drogheda, cross the Mary Mc Aleese Toll Bridge and take Junction 10 for the N51 left towards Slane/Navan. In Navan take the Trim Rd R161 and the car park is 300 metres after the Solstice and just before the railway crossing on the left .
