Ramble Skerries Circuit

Route Details:  Skerries Community Centre, Coast Road, Barnageeragh, Ardgillan, Ardla, Ballygossan, Shenick, Promenade, Harbour, Skerries Community Centre.

Distance/Duration: 15km (3 ½ – 4 hours).  Distance and duration may be adjusted depending on weather and group.

Meeting Point: Skerries Community Centre

Walk Start Time: 11:30am.  Please note later than usual start time.

Leaders Note:  This is a ramble along a mix of quiet country roads, through Ardgillan Estate which contains some uphill sections.  We will have a break in Ardgillan at the picnic tables near the rose garden.  Café in the castle will be open, if you want to get a coffee etc.  Please contact the leader if it is more convenient for you to join the walk along the route, e.g. Skerries Point, Lady Stairs Car park.

Please text the leader by Fri 7^th Jan if you intend to go on the walk.  Please include your full name on the text.

Covid-19 related: Walkers are advised that they will be asked to confirm that they have no Covid-19 like symptoms and agree to walk at their own risk.  The organisers cannot accept any liability in the event of injury/Covid-19 infection.
